John Williams

John Albert 'Al' Williams 79 of Burkesville, KY and formerly of Glasgow died Thursday, April 1, 2010 at his home. He was born in Barren County a son of the late George and Anna Pedigo Williams. Mr. Williams was a co-owner and operator of Williams Cable Telephone Construction Co. and was a veteran serving in the U. S. Army. He is survived by 1 daughter, Linda Williams of Glasgow; 3 sons Doug Williams of Glasgow, Larry Williams of Schenectady, NY and Jason Williams of Arizona; 3 step children, Mike Lovel of Illinois, Jon Lovel and Jennifer Lovel Shephard of Illinois; 2 grandchildren Chad Williams and Todd Dean; 3 great-grandchildren Lexie Lutterman, Jordon Chapman and Skyler Williams; 2 sisters Lucille Johnson and Myrna Harbison both of Glasgow; 2 brothers David Williams and Lewis Williams both of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews and a special friend Lida Collins of Burkesville. Funeral services will be 7:00pm Monday, April 5, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00pm until time for the service.
