Johnathan Young

Johnathan Wendell Young, 26, of Caneyville, passed away Wednesday, December 16th, 2015 at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, July 11th, 1989 in Grayson County, the son of John and Tammy (Jarboe) Young. He was an avid UK fan and a 2007 graduate of Grayson County High School. Johnathan is survived by his father, John Young of Leitchfield; mother, Tammy Young of Short Creek; two sisters, Amanda Russell of Caneyville and Johanna Mae Young of Millwood; paternal grandparents, Wendell and Mildred Embry of Caneyville; maternal grandparents, Bob and Louise Jarboe of Leitchfield; one nephew, Dylan Russell; two nieces, Chloe Russell and Madison Cook and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 19th at 1:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Murray Stevenson, Jr will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Friday after 3:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until time of service.
