Johney Wilborn

Johney Walter Wilborn 90 of the Temple Hill Community of Barren County, died Sunday August 9, 2009 at his home. He was born at Nobob, KY the son of the late John Alvin and Mae Wiley Wilborn. Mr. Wilborn was a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He is survived by a son Michael Wayne Wilborn and wife Judy; 1 granddaughter Brandi Jill Matthews and husband Randy; a great grandson Tres Matthews all of Temple Hill; a sister Flo Murdell Levang and a brother Wilmar Wilborn both of Florida. He was preceded in death by his first wife Anna Lougene Sabens Wilborn; his second wife Geneva Russell; a granddaughter Kelly Dawn Wilborn; two sisters Mildred Emberton and Violet McCain and a brother Virgil Wilborn. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday August 12, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow will be in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
