Johnnie Michael McElroy 54 of Glasgow died Saturday, November 30, 2013 in Green County, KY from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born in Taylor County he was the son of the late Henry Leo McElroy and Annie Agnes Shively McElroy of Finley, KY who survives. Mr. McElroy was a member of the Our Lady Of The Hills Catholic Church and owner and operator of Little Pony Express Trucking in Glasgow. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Bobbie Teresa McElroy of Glasgow; 2 sons Michael Brian Spurling & wife Tammie and Jonathan Leo McElroy both of Campbellsville, KY; a daughter Elizabeth Ann McElroy of Finley, KY; a step-daughter Melissa Renee Ross of Merry Oaks; 8 grandchildren Isabelle Spurling, Sophia Spurling, Gabby Vanhoose, Jonathon Sanders, Cheyenne Adkins, Cayden Lane Titsworth, Emily Grace Titsworth and Bryson Lane McElroy; 2 brothers Roy Thomas McElroy & wife Patsy of Lebanon, KY and Charles Wayne McElroy & wife Brenda of Finley, KY; 6 sisters Billie Mae Turner & husband John of Bardstown, Nancy Marie Moore & husband Charles of Lebanon, KY, Mary Elizabeth Parrott & husband Wallace of Lebanon, Gloria Lillian McElroy of Finley, KY, Roberta Ann Lewis & husband Larry of Willisburg, KY and Brenda Kay Goatley & husband Charles of Springfield, KY; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a half-brother Afton Leroy McElroy. Funeral services will be 2:00pm CST Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Our Lady Of The Hills Catholic Church in Campbellsville, KY with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday after 1:00pm CST at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral home and Wednesday from 10:00am CST until time for the service at the Our Lady Of The Hills Catholic Church.
