Johnnie Parrigan

Johnnie Walter Parrigan, 62, of Leitchfield, passed away Monday, November 23rd, 2015 at Nortons Hospital in Louisville. He was born on Monday, April 27th, 1953 in Grayson County, the son of Elmer and Ann (Kinser) Parrigan. Johnnie worked for many years as a Respiratory Therapist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and doing landscape work. Johnnie is survived by his parents, Elmer and Ann Parrigan; the mother of his children, Pam Parrigan; three sons, Jeremiah Parrigan (Rhonda) of Caneyville, Caleb Parrigan (Lauren) of Smiths Grove, and Seth Parrigan of Leitchfield; one brother, Morty Parrigan (Carolyn) of Morgantown; two sisters Edna Pierce (Billy) of Breckinridge County and Marilou Pate (Marvin) of Bee Springs; three grandchildren Macy, Hunter, and Emory Parrigan. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 25th at 1:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Mickey Coates will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Tuesday after 4:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of service.In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Johnnie Parrigan Memorial Fund to help with funeral expenses.
