Johnny Reece

Johnny Owens Reece 63 of Glasgow died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at his home. He was born in Metcalfe County the son of the late Eugene and Maxine Garland Reece. Mr. Reece was an employee of Mid-State Recycling, an avid horse rider and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Compton Reece; 2 sons Johnny Craig Reece (Tonya) and Chris Reece (Diane); a daughter Buffy Winchester (Donald) all of Glasgow; 7 grandchildren Trevor Reece, Cody and Chase Winchester, Katelyn & Baylee Reece and Nathan and Nicholas Fields; 1 great grandson Easton Fields; 4 brothers Danny Reece (Charlene), Mike Reece (Barbara), Dale Reece (Glenda) and Stevie Reece all of Glasgow; and 3 sisters Lisa Bryant (Rusty), Marjorie Ritter (Sid) and Terri Shirley all of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 2pm Monday, February 11th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 5pm Saturday and continue Sunday and Monday until time for the funeral.
