Jonell Wilson

Jonell (Murphy) Wilson, 92, of Irvington, passed away Friday, September 25th, 2015 at her residence. She was born on Wednesday, August 22nd, 1923 in Ohio County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Flora (Daniel) Murphy. Jonell enjoyed get-togethers and visiting with family and friends as well as cooking and cleaning. She is survived by her husband, Eules Wilson; one daughter, Jeanie Jones (Terry) of Elizabethtown; three sons, Donald Wilson (Deloris), Terry Wilson (Linda) and Lynn Wilson (Amy) all of Irvington; eight grandchildren, Rhonda Clemons (Steve), Aaron Crowder (Julie), Scott Wilson, Melanie Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Eric Wilson (LeeAnn), Brent Wilson (Angela) and Travis Wilson (Tara); twelve great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her five sisters and two brothers.Funeral services will be Monday, September 28th at 11:00 am CST at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Bill Cook will be officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery at Dog Walk.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Sunday after 3:00 pm CST and Monday from 9:00 am until time of service.
