Joseph Carney

Joseph Carney, age 64, died Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN. He was born on December 31,1958 in Columbia Tennessee to the late Robert Carney and the late Betty (McTaggart) Carney. He worked in Engineering and Plant Management for almost 30 years in the automotive industry He is survived by two daughters, Brandylin Pensis of Arlington TX, Amber Pace of Pioneer Louisiana; one sister, Diana Brooks of Franklin TN; two brothers, Calvin Ditmore of Baton Rouge, LA and Robert Jay Carney of Bovina MS; four grandchildren, Ethan Sager of Jackson TN, Ricky Sager of Austin TX, Raylin McGee of Pioneer LA, Ashley Bratcher of Maryville TN; 10 great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Carney; one stepson, Michael Gardner; one stepdaughter, Angela Gardner; one brother, Michael Ditmore of Pampa TX; one sister, Carla Carney. A Graveside Service will be held at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 11th. Arrangements are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. A.F.
