Joseph Thomas

Joseph Kenneth Thomas, 87 of Smith Grove died Wednesday August 27, 2014 at his residence. He was the son of the late James Corbett Thomas & Francis Corine Snoddy Thomas. Mr. Thomas married Loretta Hudson December 14, 1962. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as a pipeline welder for many years and was a member of the Pipeline local 798 and of the church of Christ faith. Survivors include his wife Loretta Hudson Thomas; grandson Anthony Thomas of Smith Grove; 2 brothers Lester Thomas of Glasgow & Jack Thomas of IN; several nieces & nephews also survive. He is preceded in death by a daughter Cheryl Lynn Thomas and 2 brothers James Calvin Thomas & John Geraldine Thomas and a sister Tommie Day. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Sunday August 31, 2014 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Warren County with military honors provided by the DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
