Joyce C. Stout

Joyce C. Stout, 80, of Glasgow, KY passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow, KY. She was born in Monroe County on May 8,1944, to the late Paul Hammer and the late Hazel (Meadows) Hammer. Joyce was retired from R.R. Donnelly and Sons where she worked for 29 years. She attended Refuge Church of Christ, in Eighty-Eight, KY. She was a member of the order of Eastern Star Chapter in Edmonton KY for over 31 years. She was very independent, and loved mowing her grass, riding on the pontoon boat, fishing and hanging out at her cabin at the lake.

Survivors include, one son, Chris Stout (Cindy), Versailles, KY; one sister, Carol (Hammer) Crowe, Tompkinsville, KY; two grandchildren, Kacey Goodlett (Tyler), Harrodsburg, KY; Logan C. Stout, Versailles, KY; three grandchildren, Kaden Hunt, Eli Goodlett, Colton Goodlett, Harrodsburg, KY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar (E.L.) Stout; half-brothers, Ricky Ben Hammer, and James Paul Hammer; half-sister, Tina (Hammer) Dismond.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM C.S.T., Saturday, May 18th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow, KY with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM C.S.T. on Saturday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.

Officiant for the service will be, Pastor Jerry W. Greene. Serving as pallbearers, Gary Finn, Billy Clark, William Anderson, Terry Morgan, Ralph Gentry, and Robert Woodcock.
