Joyce Glady Burke

Joyce Glady Burke, 83, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 at her residence. She was born August 5, 1940 in Saint Joseph, Tennessee to the late Spencer Gladney and late Evelyn Williams Gladney. Joyce spent her youth split between Florence, Alabama and the Detroit, Michigan area. Joyce married Bill Burke in 1958 and they raised four sons, Tim, Jeff, Joe, and Phillip. Her and Bill raised their family outside Detroit and then moved to California for several years, before moving to their forever home in Glasgow, Kentucky where she passed. Joyce spent her life loving God, family, and her home.
Survivors include her two sons who have cared for her to the end, Jeff and Phil Burke; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Teresa Gladney Dickey; half-sister, Debbie Linville Eisemann, from Detroit Michigan and Elizabeth Gladney Bryan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Burke; two sons, Tim and Joe Burke
