Joyce Hanlin

Joyce Marie Wade Hanlin, died October 10, 2016 at NHC in Glasgow. She was born March 31, 1928 in Fort Worth, Texas, to Jewell Clifton Wade and Addie Inez Harris Wade. She was a resident of Denton, Texas until 2004 when she moved to Glasgow to be near her son. She was a member of the Glasgow Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. In addition to her parents, she was proceded in death by her husband Leland Hanlin, who died in 2008 and her brother, Jerry Clifton Wade. She is survived by her son, Michael Hanlin and wife Michelle of Glasgow; son Joe Hanlin of Florida; her sister, Linda Wade Yeargan and husband Bill of Argyle, Texas; granddaughters at heart, Kelly Edmunds, Beth Diehl and Janice Hare.; great-grandsons , Stephen and Brian Oachs; nephews and nieces, Charles Yeargan, Dennis Wade, Clifton Wade and Carla Wade Colbert. Many great nephews and nieces also survive. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 15, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1021 Trojan Trail, Glasgow, KY. A brief visitation will be held at the Kingdom Hall beginning at 2:00pm until time of service. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
