Justina "Tiny" Bishop

Justina 'Tiny' Bishop 86 of Glasgow died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at her home. Born in Cumberland County she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Sarah Shelley Simpson and wife of the late Neal H. Bishop, Sr. Mrs. Bishop was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women, Eva Dean Kemp Circle, and the Barren Co. Homemakers Club. Survivors include a son William Bishop (Rita) of Glasgow; two daughters Diane Kayser (Fred) of Bowling Green and Beverly Hammons (Earl) of Glasgow; eleven grandchildren Jennifer Bryant (Jason), Sarah Johnson (Nathan), Michael Wilson, Jr. (Larah), Michelle Allen (Paul), Hayden Bishop III, Mariah Clark (Adam), Adam Hammons, Gretchen Bishop, Dalton Bishop, Melissa Wilkie (Craig) and Laura Hendren (Codey); eleven great grandchildren; a sister Edna Ruggeri of Florida and a sister-in-law Dolly Simpson of Louisville. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Neal H. Bishop, Jr. The family would like to offer their thanks to her caregivers, June Bennett, Stacey Welborn and Lela Vaughn. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church or to the T. J. Samson Hospice Program.
