Katherine Butler Lawrence, 77 of Smiths Grove died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. She was Born in Finney, KY the daughter of the late Leonard B. and Melissia G. DeVasher Butler and the wife of the late William 'Bill' Lawrence. Mrs. Lawrence was a homemaker and member of the Hanging Fork Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include 3 sons Robert Van Lawrence and wife Tina, Ricky Lawrence and Todd Lawrence and wife Judy all of Smiths Grove, KY; 1 daughter Tammie Mahaney and husband Terry of Smiths Grove, KY; 7 grandchildren Lauren Shirley, Cory Mahaney, Hunter Lawrence, Tyler Lawrence, Brittany Chandler, Denley and Nick Finley; 7 great-grandchildren Jillian Shirley, Skylar and Logan Lamastus, Jameson, Breydn, Levi and Kholey Finley; 1 sister Marjorie Atkinson of Bowling Green, KY; 1 niece Lisa Lancaster and husband Jeff; 1 great niece Bailee Lancaster. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 1 brother Howard Butler. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the Hanging Fork Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM Tuesday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation on Wednesday will be from 11:00am until time for services at the Hanging Fork Baptist Church.
