Kathleen Campbell

Kathleen (Turner) Campbell, 80, of Caneyville, passed away Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 at her residence. She was born on Friday, November 12th, 1937 in Jefferson County, the daughter of the late Allie and Jessie (Mollyhorn) Turner. Kathleen was a deputy and retired from the Grayson County Detention Center. She loved to fish and garden and was of the Baptist faith. Kathleen is survived by her four children, Debbie Hack and David Campbell (Rosa) both of Leitchfield, Regina Diane Bratcher of Morgantown and Delaina Campbell of Caneyville; one brother, William Turner (Joan) of Louisville; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Charlie Campbell; their son, Douglas Campbell and one brother, Charles Turner. Funeral services will be Friday, December 1st at 2:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Joseph Henderson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Brown Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Thursday after 11:00 am and Friday from 9:00 am until time of service.
