Kathleen Davidson

Kathleen Whitlow Davidson, 94, of Charlestown, IN died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, IN. Kathleen was born September 25, 1918 to Louis V. and Lou Ella Whitlow in Monroe County, KY. She graduated from Temple Hill High School and attended Draughons Business School In Nashville, TN. She married Robert F. Davidson in March of 1941. She worked at T. J. Samson Community Hospital for 17 years and was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Glasgow. Kathleen was a wonderful quilter and saw to it that all of her grandchildren had one of her handmade quilts. She also made quilts for some of her great-grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert who was killed in Europe in WWII; a granddaughter Lori Medley Henderson and 9 siblings. She is survived by her three daughters; Gretta (Dan) Wilkinson of Johnston, IA, Betty (Gene) Bilbao of Benton, PA and Robbie (Carroll) Medley of Charlestown, IN; 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, March 25, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5pm until 7pm and after 9am Monday at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
