Keith Robert Collins, 68, of Glasgow, KY, died peacefully at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Diversicare of Glasgow. The youngest of four children, Keith was born December 2, 1949, in Peoria, IL, to Dale and Bettye (Brulard) Collins, and grew up in Morton, IL. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Jonathan Judson (Krystal) Collins of Portage, MI; two grandchildren, Jaelyn and Pierce Collins; three siblings, Karen Hathaway (Ted Johnson) of Peoria, IL; Rodney (Elaine) Collins of White Bear Lake, MN; and Nancy (Randy) Root of Metamora, IL; seven nieces and nephews, eleven great-nieces and - nephews, and good friends Robbie Williams and Nancy Vanderveer. Keith graduated from the University of Illinois with a major in business and held a variety of jobs during his career, including General Manager of several home health companies. He loved the game of golf and was captain of his high school team. Over the course of his life, he had many holes-in-one, several double eagles, and scored a record low score of 62. As much as he enjoyed playing golf, Keith was a great coach and mentor for anyone who asked him for help in the game. Many have benefitted from his suggestions and corrections over the years. He enjoyed his family and was able to go on several outings to Branson with his siblings, which always included lots of game playing and laughter. He enjoyed his home in Glasgow and the friends he made there, and he was a loyal friend to the end. He will be missed by many. His sense of humor and playful spirit will live on in his grandchildren. Private services will be held with his close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
