Kenneth Harrell Cross, born on June 10, 1951, in Glasgow, Kentucky, went to sleep peacefully with is family present on December 25, 2024, after a brief illness. 

Harrell proudly served his country in the United States Army as a military policeman. Following his military service, he began a notable career as a Kentucky State Trooper, graduating from Cadet Class 58 in 1979. His commitment to public service extended beyond law enforcement, as he later transitioned to working as a commercial truck driver and also as a carpenter.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his son Jason Cross and daughter-in-law Mitzi, residing in Belfry, KY; daughter Becky Hill and son-in-law Mike, residing in Apollo Beach, FL; and daughter Elizabeth Cross of Glasgow, KY; grandsons, Clayton Isaiah Cross of Glasgow, KY, Luka Kenton Cross of Belfry, KY, and Elijah Lamaal Howard of Glasgow, KY; granddaughters, Autumn Rose Hill and Charolette Avery Hill, both from Apollo Beach, FL, and Macy C.N Cross of Belfry, KY; brother, Lynn Cross and sister-in-law Jennifer of Canada, KY; nephews, Joshua Cross and his wife Reyna from Wilmington, NC, and Colton Cross along with his wife Kendra from Canada, KY; great nephew, Alexander Eli Cross, and great niece, Isabella Sophia Cross, both of Wilmington, NC.

Also, Harrell is remembered by his best friend, Randy Gray, and Randy's wife Cheryl of Glasgow, KY, who shared many cherished memories with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Georgia Cross, his brother Darrel Cross, and his beloved grandchildren, Noah Jase Cross and Emma Grace Hill. 

As were Harrell's wishes, the family has chosen cremation under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.  There are no services scheduled at this time.
