Kenneth Davis

Kenneth Lee Davis 53, of Lucas, KY, died Sunday November 23, 2003 as the result of an accident at his residence. He was born June 18, 1950 in Glasgow to the late Delbert Ernest Davis and Mary Louise Glass Davis of Glasgow who survives. He graduated from Austin Tracy High School in 1968. He was a member of Grider Memorial Baptist Church, a former member of the Glasgow-Barren County Jaycees and was a 31 year employee of Dana Corporation, having been in the first group hired by Eaton Corporation. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son Corey Spencer Davis at home; a step daughter Shelia Renee Botts of Lexington, KY; a step son Charles Richard Botts and wife Gaye of Glasgow; a brother Harold Wayne Davis and wife Connie of Lucas, KY; a sister Linda Faye Anderson and husband Billy of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Dakota Richard Botts, Pacey Joseph Botts and Emma McKenzie Botts; a nephew Chad Wayne Davis of Reston, VA; 2 nieces Tammy Michelle Morgan of Glasgow and Jill Lynn Davis of Bowling Green;1 great niece Sydney Faye Morgan; and his very special girl friend Candace Sue Steen of Glasgow. In addition to his father, a sister Wilma Jane Davis, his paternal grandparents William Barnett Davis and Laura Ann Glass Davis and his maternal grandparents James Logan Glass and Zora Ellen Jennings Glass preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 26th at 1:00pm with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 1pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
