Kenneth Groce

Kenneth "Kenny" Travis Groce 62 of Glasgow died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Born in Barren County, he was the son of the late Jessie Paul Groce and Dorothy Mae Wheat Fields. Kenny was retired from Goodman Automotive in Glasgow. He is survived by one daughter Jenny Lynn Simmons (Harvey) of Glasgow; two grandsons whom he dearly loved, Christopher Simmons (Lauren) and Kyle Travis Simmons of Glasgow; 6 sisters Fay Cannon (Bobby) of Brownsville, Vickie Wheeler (J.B.) of Rockfield, Mary Boatman (Steve) of Glasgow, Dianna Waters (Steve) of Brownsville, Frances Fields of Bowling Green and Tina Montoya of Glasgow; 1 brother Douglas Groce of Brownsville; his companion Virginia Russell and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he felt as his very own and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Keith Groce. Funeral services will be 2:30 Monday, April 11th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Sunday.
