Kenneth N. 'Red' Humphrey 80 of Glasgow died Thursday January 29, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Porter Ewing and Ovie Key Humphrey. Mr. Humphrey was an auto body repairman and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Melba Davis Humphrey; his brother Ewing Thomas 'Tommy' Humphrey and wife Caroll of Glasgow; his sister Dorothy Harvey and husband Joe Donald of Manassas, VA; 3 sisters-in-law Betty Wright (Billy) and Naomi Edmunds of Glasgow and Sue Gray of Campbellsville; a brother-in-law Wendell Davis (Carol) of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces and nephews and special friends Jo and Harvey Brewer of Austin, Gail Brewer of Austin and Dianna Combs of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday January 31, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow will be in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
