Kevin Dale Sherfey

Kevin Dale Sherfey, 50, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born November 13, 1971, in Glasgow, Kentucky, to Richard Dale Sherfey and the late Betty June Proffitt Sherfey. Kevin was a cattle farmer who loved every aspect of it and the outdoors. He also loved nothing more than coaching and guiding his two children in baseball, softball, soccer, and life. He ensured a weekly ritual was watching Street Outlaws, always with a Dr. Pepper in hand. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his loving wife, Karen Johnson Sherfey, and his two children, Jacob Sherfey and Megan Honeycutt (Austin). Also, his dad, Richard Sherfey (Kathy Stephens), his one brother, Keith Sherfey (Hellen), his mother and father-in-law, Harold and Mabel Johnson; to include several nieces and nephews near and dear to the family. The funeral service for Mr. Sherfey will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 15th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with the burial at Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday morning until the time for the service at the funeral home. A. F.
