Laina Emmitt

Laina Kaye Emmitt 37 of Glasgow died Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Glasgow and her father was the late Franklin D. Estes. Her mother is Diane Lane Estes of Glasgow who survives. Laina was an employee of Travelers Food Plaza and was a member of the Little Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Todd Emmitt; two children Crystal Diane Lindner and William Thomas Lindner of Glasgow; two step sons Joseph Emmitt and Matthew Bowles of Glasgow; two brothers Franklin D. Estes, Jr. (Alicia) and Scott Estes (Jennifer) all of Cave City; her father and mother-in-law David and Elizabeth Emmitt of Glasgow; 2 special caregivers Elizabeth Emmitt and Chad Emmitt. Three nephews and a niece also survive. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James D. and Eula Beatrice Lane and Roma and Mary Estes. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Emmitt-Clack Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00am until time for the service.
