Pvt. Lank Graves 20 of Glasgow died Sunday December 2, 2007 in Bowling Green, KY. Pvt. Graves was a member of Echo Company, 5th Batl.101st Aviation, U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY. His military awards include the expert weapon qualification with the M-16, the Army Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Lank was a 2006 graduate of Glasgow High School where he excelled in Football and Basketball as well in Academics. He attended Siloam Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother Julie Rich Graves of Glasgow; his father Lanky Graves; very special friend Jody McCoy of Glasgow; 2 brothers Alex and Westley Graves of Glasgow; a sister Laketta Graves of Glasgow; step father Larry Hayes of Glasgow; Maternal Aunts and Uncles: Eva and Ollie McIntyre of Tompkinsville, Betty and Freddie Belcher of Glasgow, Bill and Teresa Rich of Eighty Eight, Willie Rich and Kathy Franklin of Summer Shade, Bob and Donna Rich of Glasgow, Mary and Chris Tetzlaff of Glasgow, Lynn and Lisa Rich of Glasgow; Carl and Jessie Rich of Tompkinsville and Benny Rich of Tompkinsville and several cousins; Paternal aunts and uncles: Larry and Anna Graves of Tompkinsville, James Wendell and Marla Graves of Tennessee, Karen and Artie Paul, Joseph and Donna Graves and Ticey Graves all of Louisville and Terry Graves of LaGrange and several cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Mincie and Jasper Rich and Jimmy and Katherine Graves, uncles Chester Graves, Harold Rich and J.D. Rich and cousins Shannell Graves, Robert Bradley, Jason Rich and Billy Rich. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday December 7, 2007 at the Glasgow Baptist Church with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 4:00pm at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and visitation will continue at the Glasgow Baptist Church on Friday from 11:00am until time for services.
