Larence Hunt

Larence E. Hunt 77 of Glasgow and formerly of Lamb, KY died Saturday May 30, 2009 at the Barren County Health Care Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Monroe County the son of the late William D. 'Jack' Hunt and Mona Arterburn Hunt. He was a veteran of the Korean War, retired from Jeffboat Co. in Louisville and also a farmer. Mr. Hunt was a member of the East Main St. Church of Christ and the Temple Hill Lions Club. He is survived by his wife Margaret Berryman Hunt; 3 sons Bruce Hunt (Jan) of Lamb, KY, Ervin Hunt (Sheila) of Louisville and Ricky Hunt (Melissa) of Meringo, IN; 1 step-daughter Vicki Berryman Pirtle of Smiths Grove; 1 step-son Tim Berryman of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Brucie Hunt, Jr., Natasha Hunt Wilson, Jeremy Hunt, Andy Hunt, Tianna Hunt and Teresa Turngate; 4 step-grandchildren Tracie Ross, Christa Berryman Hess, Austin Berryman and Ashley Dunn; 2 great-granddaughters Emily and Carla Turngate; 1 sister Katherine Arden of Glasgow; 4 brothers Ray Hunt (Willie Mae) of Louisville, Ernest Hunt (Jane) of Glasgow, Burl Hunt of Glasgow and Carlos Hunt (Delcie) of Indianapolis, IN; 2 sisters-in-law Pearline Hunt of Bowling Green and Loretta Hunt of Glasgow. Several cousins, nephews and friends also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Helen Crabtree Hunt, his twin brother Clarence 'Cotton' Hunt, a brother Fay Hunt and a sister-in-law Ruth Hunt. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday June 2, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:30 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
