Larry Keith Glass 65 of Glasgow died Friday, February 22, 2013 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late James and Eunice Minor Glass. Larry retired from the National Linen Service and later was employed by DANA and Felker Brothers. He loved and spent years researching his genealogy. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Judy Matthews Glass; 2 daughters Angie Bishop (Chuck) and Andrea Haynes (Corey) both of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Cade, Laney and Caroline Bishop and Elleri, Huston and Ryder Haynes; 1 sister Pat Vincent (Ranzy) of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews including Amy Key (Mark) of Smiths Grove and a great-nephew Landon Key; his mother-in-law Olene Matthews and sisters-in-law Jackie Clemmons (Tony) and Jean Crow (Follis) all of Glasgow and Jo Fields of Louisville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Clifton Matthews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 25th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Sunday. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to either the Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, KY Chapter, 153 Thierman Ln., Louisville, KY 40207.
