Larry Reece

Larry Hayden Reece 70 of Glasgow, died Tuesday December 1, 2009 at his home. He was born in Louisville, KY the son of the late Hayden and Grace Bardin Reece. He was the former owner and operator of Larry's Safe Car and was an employee of Benedict and Benedict Oil Co. in Glasgow. Larry was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member and served as a Deacon for many years at Southside Baptist Church in Glasgow. Survivors include his wife Betty Jo Reece; two daughters, Andrea Hanlon and husband Wade of Hannacroix, NY and Kelly Ann Bray and husband Kelly of Glasgow; one sister, Charlotte F. Belle and husband Ralph of Hardyville; 3 grandsons, Wesley Bray, Wade Hanlon, Jr. and Spencer Bray. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday December 4, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow, will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00am Thursday at the funeral home.
