Bobby Ewell Simmons, “Lawn Mower Man,” age 52, of Glasgow, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Bowling Green Medical Center. He was born on January 7, 1971, in Glasgow to the late Bobby Nat Simmons and the late Katherine (Fields) Simmons. Bobby loved lawnmowers and spent all his time working on and with them.
Survivors include his daughter, Destiny Louise Simmons; brothers, Timothy Wayne Simmons and Barry Lee Simmons (Jenny); several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive, two closest cousins, Melissa Emberton Houchens and John Frank Fields.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Lynn (Settles) Simmons; granny, Verna Katherine Taylor; several aunts and uncles.
The funeral service for Mr. Simmons will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 13th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, followed by cremation. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM Wednesday, September 13th until time for the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made for funeral expenses.
