Leatrice Dale

Leatrice Joy Dale, 73, a resident of Glasgow, KY since 1990, died Saturday December 13, 2003 at N.H.C. Health Care Facility in Glasgow. Born in Zanesville,Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Arka and Rachel Valentine of Zanesville, OH. Her husband, Edward L. Dale, 2 brothers Arka and Bud Valentine and a sister Jane Spicer preceded her in death. Joy and her husband, Ed, moved to Lexington, KY in 1960 where they owned and operated F.I.E. Inc. until retiring and moving to Glasgow in 1990. In Glasgow, Joy was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, the T. J. Samson Hospital Auxiliary, Glasgow Musicale, Order of Eastern Star #257 and the Gadabouts. Survivors include two sons, Brian Dale and wife Emily of Glasgow and Scott Jackson and his wife Jenny of Maryland; one granddaughter Brie Dale of Glasgow; and two sisters Leona Bradley and Blanche Dale both of Zanesville, OH. Funeral services will be 10:00a.m. Wednesday December 17, 2003 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Lexington Cemetery at 3:00p.m. EST Wednesday. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home. Eastern Star Rites will be held at the funeral home at 6pm Tuesday and the public is welcome to attend.
