Lela Neal

Lela Maxine Neal 66 of Glasgow went to be at home with Jesus while in the presence of her family Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Neal was born in Glasgow the daughter of the late Clarence and Lela York Rupe. She was a retired housekeeper for T. J. Samson Community Hospital and member of the Coral Hill Church of God. Survivors include 3 daughters Darlene Myers and husband Joe of Glasgow, Tina Edwards Wheat of Glasgow and Tammy Edwards McGlasson and husband Tom of Louisville: 6 grandsons Dustin and Cory Lawson of Glasgow, Brayden and Jaxon Wheat of Glasgow, Trevor and Tate McGlasson of Louisville: 1 brother Ken Rupe of California: 4 sisters Nola Wheeler of Glasgow, Doris Hagan of TN, Eula Emmitt of Glasgow and Becky Spurgeon of IN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter Abigail Wheat: 1 brother Troy Rupe: 3 sisters Mildred Rupe, Frances Spears and Josephine Dodson and her precious kitten Pretty Babe. Funeral services will be held 2PM Friday, July 10, 2015 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4PM Thursday at the funeral home.
