Lenvel Edwards

Lenvel Leo Edwards 86 of Glasgow, KY died Friday January 16, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Metcalfe County the son of the late Berton Edwards and Florence Coffey Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a former employee of the Glasgow Daily Times and the Courier Journal. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII where he received a purple heart medal for injuries received while rescuing another soilder. He was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ. He is survived by a sister Sylvia Edwards of Glasgow, an aunt Delphia Coffey of Glasgow and a host of other friends & relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday January 18, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Burial will be in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 3pm Saturday at the funeral home.
