Leon Hurt

Leon Hurt 83 of Glasgow, died Saturday, August 3, 2013 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. The Allen County native was the son of John Ray and Vera Mae Williams Hurt. Leon was a farmer, retired from SKF in Glasgow and was a former employee of Jewell Davidson's Garage at Lucas. He was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Anna Jewell Wilkerson Hurt; 2 sons Kevin Hurt of Glasgow and Rex (Carolyn) Hurt of Bowling Green; 2 grandchildren Josh (Amy) Hurt of Bowling Green and Megan (John) Cecil of Glasgow; 1 great-grandson John Carter Cecil; 2 brothers Bill Hurt of Sullivan, IL and Harold (Jean) Hurt of Scottsville and 1 sister Lorene Dale of Greenwood, IN. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, August 6th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 5pm Monday.
