Leona Sharp

Leona Katherine Sharp 86 of N. Vernon, IN and formerly of Glasgow died Monday, August 31, 2015 in N. Vernon, IN. Born at Bonayr, she was the daughter of the late Edgar B. and Dovie Chapman Kingrey. Ms. Sharp was a former seamstress at Kentucky Pants Co. and also a waitress. She attended the Trinity Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Susan Johnson (Randy Joe) of N. Vernon, IN; 3 grandchildren Christopher Johnson and Jennifer Johnson (Chuck) both of N. Vernon, IN and Jason Johnson (Dena) of Reddington, IN; 11 great-grandchildren Shelbie, Tristen, Elia, Teagen, Madyson, Lydia, Cloey, Bryce, Jason, Kiptyn and Mavys; 3 brothers Paul Kingrey (Thelma), Buck Kingrey and Eugene Kingrey all of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 12:30 Friday at the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 until 12:00 at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
