Leonard Glass

Leonard Hurshel Glass 78 of Glasgow died Friday, October 30, 2009 at his residence. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Orien & Virgie Bunch Glass. Mr. Glass was a member of the Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U. S. Army. Survivors include his wife Ruth Houchens Glass of Glasgow; two daughters Tammy Richardson (Steve) of Glasgow and Pam West (Chris) of Radcliff, KY; four grandchildren Amanda Elmore, Sara Richardson, Brad West and George West; a brother Kenneth Glass (Joyce) of Lebanon, IN and several neices and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four sisters Louise Broady, Aline Norris, Christine Glass and Iva Mae Glass and three brothers Hubert, Avilee and Herman Glass. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, November 2, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with Military Honors provided by DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
