Lera Houchens

Lera Maxine Houchens 86 of Glasgow died Friday, April 13, 2012 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Thomas & Rossie Spillman Houchens. She was a member of the Old Zion Methodist Church and retired from Houchens Industries. Survivors include 2 sisters Rohena Duvall and Naomi Duvall (Rusty) both of Glasgow, 3 special nieces Rhonda Duvall, Connie Long (Keith) and Renee Cassady (Butch) all of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 6 sisters Lois Gunell Green, Willodean Davis, Alma Elizabeth Jackson, Juanita Davidson, Beulah Crawhorn and Izetta Thompson. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
