Leslie Elwood "Buck" Kingrey 83 of Glasgow died Monday, May 16, 2016 at Diversicare of Glasgow. He was born at Bonayr, KY the son of the late Edgar Basil Kingrey and Dovie Virginia Chapman Kingrey. Mr. Kingrey served in the U. S. Air Force and the KY National Guard. He was a farm machinery mechanic with Ideal Hardware-Glasgow Trading Center and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Buck was a Kentucky Colonel and was a past president and very active with the Glasgow Quarterback Club. He is survived by a daughter Marla Jo Kingrey Cameron of Louisville; a son Leslie Allan Kingrey (Susan) of Smiths Grove; 4 grandchildren Amanda Brinkerhoff (Matt) of Glasgow, Joshua Kingrey (Sherie) of Corbin; Mark Andrew Reynolds of Austin, TX and Emily Reynolds of Louisville; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 brother Paul Kingrey (Thelma) of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Anna Mae Hood Kingrey, a brother Eugene Kingrey, a sister Leona Sharp and a half-sister Chlorine Kingrey. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, May 19th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Thursday morning until time for the service.
