Leslie Paul

Leslie Oscar Paul, Jr., born June 24, 1930, departed this life on May 10, 2015 at 8:25 a.m. CST at home, also his place of birth, in Hudson, KY. He was 84 years old. He was surrounded by his loving wife of 63 years, Edith Lucas Paul and his four children: Deborah (Ron) Cavins of Radcliff, KY; James (Angela) Paul, Vickie (Bill) Welsh, and Patty (Julio) Nieves all of Hudson. He is also survived by one sister: Carolyn Delores (Billy) Smith of Lodiburg, KY. Other survivors include five grandchildren: Leslie Nieves of Louisville; Tommy Paul and James Paul, Jr. of Leitchfield; and Jesse Paul and Ashlee Paul both of Hudson; four great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leslie O. Paul and Shellie Hudson Paul; a brother: Guthrie T. Paul of Louisville; three sisters: Lennie Mercer of Madrid, Kathleen Faulkner of Louisville and Hazel Woodson of Kansas City, KS. He was also preceded in death by his youngest son, Timothy E. Paul of Howe Valley, KY and an infant grandson, Jacob Paul of Hudson. He was a member of Hudson Community Church and also a life-long member of Hudsonville Masonic Lodge #262, F&AM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hudson Community Church in Hudson with Bro. Jimmy Tucker and Bro. Ronnie Keesee officiating. Burial will be in Hudson Cemetery in Hudson. Visitation will be held after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hudson Community Church with a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night.
