Leura Frances Cooper 80 of Smith Grove died Friday December 24, 2010 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County the daughter of the late Willie Cox and Inez Sympson Cox. Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and bookkeeper for George J. Ellis Drug Store, Glasgow Animal Clinic and several other Glasgow Businesses. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 son Roger Gentry (Sue) of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Chris Gentry of Glasgow and Kimberly Campbell (James) of Lucas; 9 great grandchildren Dakota Campbell, Landon Campbell, Alexia Campbell, Kaitlyn Gentry, Andrew Burchett, Cody Burchett, Chasity Burchett, Chelsea Burchett and Kelsey Burchett; 1 sister Lucille Short of IN.; 4 brothers Arnold Cox (Audrey) of Glasgow, Billy Cox (Abby) of IN., Don Cox (Lou) of Glasgow and Glenn Cox (Margaret) of Glasgow; 1 sister in law Elizabeth Cox and 1 brother in law Preston Thomas; several nieces and nephews also survive.
