'A soldier died today', retired U. S. Army Veteran Levy Smith, Jr. 85 of Glasgow died Monday, December 23, 2013 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Pontiac, MI he was the son of the late Levy & Mildred Coomer Smith. Survivors include his wife Marie Vance Smith of Glasgow, a sister Maxine Smith Norman of Glasgow, two sons and three daughter. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until 2:00pm Monday, December 30, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with Military Honors by D.A.V. Chapter #20 of Glasgow to follow at the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
