Lewis T. Button 100 of Glasgow, died Monday, June 29, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. He was born at Flippin, KY the son of the late Thomas G. and Sarah Jane Register Button. Mr. Button was a car salesman for over 65 years and was currently active with Cars & Trucks R Us. He was a former salesman for McCoy Motors and several other auto dealerships in Glasgow. In his earlier years he performed maintenance for machinery in coal mines and during WWII worked for Curtis-Wright airplane mfg. in Louisville. He was a longtime member of Indian Creek Baptist Church at Flippin where he also had served as a Deacon and currently attended Southside Baptist Church in Glasgow. He was a member of Allen Lodge #24 F&AM and the O.E.S. He is survived by 2 sons, Dan Button (Becky) of Glasgow and Jerry Button (Thelma) of Louisville; 2 grandchildren Jenny Furlong (Derek) of Glasgow and Jan Button-Minton (Sherman) of Louisville; 3 great-grandchildren Caden, Carlie and Carsyn Furlong, 1 sister Pearl Reasor of Virginia Beach, VA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Alise Johnson Button, and three brothers Raymond, Guy and Leon Button. Funeral services will be 1pm Thursday, July 2nd at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Neal Cemetery at Flippin. Visitation will begin at 2:30pm Wednesday. A Masonic service will be held 7pm Wednesday at the funeral home and the public is welcome to attend.
