Lewis Ferguson

Lewis Paul Ferguson 76 of Hiseville, KY died Wednesday November 16, 2011 at his home after an illness. He was born in Metcalfe County, a son of the late Sherman and Maude Lee Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson established and for 25 years owned and operated C&F Farm Supply at Hiseville and also C&F Angus Farms. He was very active in the Hiseville community and was instrumental in the establishment of the Hiseville Fire Dept. He had served on the Hiseville Cemetery Board, was a former member of Hiseville Lodge #787 F&AM and was a member of the Hiseville United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Wanda Smith Ferguson; a daughter Paula Combs and husband Van of Hiseville; 2 grandsons Brandon Combs and wife Whitney and Jared Combs and wife Kathy all of Glasgow; 3 great-grandchildren Warner, Auna and Cameron Combs and several nieces and nephews including a special niece Marcella Webb of Bowling Green. Several brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday November 19, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday morning until time for the service. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to T.J.
