Lewis Patterson

Lewis Stone Patterson, 83, of Falls of Rough, passed away Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. He was born on Saturday, June 11th, 1932 in Grayson County, the son of the late Wilton and Daisy (Mahurin) Patterson. Lewis was a member of the Yeaman Church of Christ. He worked in maintenance at Rough River State Park and also enjoyed fishing. Lewis is survived by his three cousins, Ray Mahurin (Barbara) of Falls of Rough, Eddie Mahurin (Sue Ann) also of Falls of Rough and Louise Blessitt of Hardinsburg and several friends and family members. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his cousin, Kenny Mahurin.Funeral services will be Monday, September 14th at 11:00 am at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Christopher Edwards will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mahurin Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Sunday after 3:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until time of service.
