Lillian Lee Burris, age 93, of Glasgow, died Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. She was born in Glasgow on May 15, 1927 to the late George Edgar Stephenson and the late Nettie (Bowles) Stephenson. She was employed at Glasgow Foods where she worked as an inspector. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Burris (Tammy) of Georgetown, KY; five grandchildren, Tony Reece (Tina) of Westmorland, TN, Regina Poland (Randy) of Glasgow, Jennifer Baker (Austin) of Marietta, GA, Dylan Burris of Georgetown and Chris Nunn of Georgetown; two great grandchildren, Josh Reece (Brittany) and Ellison Baker; two sisters, Barbara Ward of Glasgow and Beatrice Neal (Thomas) of Glasgow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Burris; one son, Ernest Leland Burris; two daughters, Betty McCoy and Margaret Burris; three brothers, James Stephenson, Robert Stephenson and Charles Stephenson; one sister, Frances England. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, August 17th at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Bowles Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday and Monday morning until time for services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Norton Children's Hospital 231 E Chestnut St, Louisville, KY 40202 All those who wish to honor and remember Mrs. Burris in person at the visitation or service must wear a mask or other appropriate facial covering and practice physical distancing while inside the funeral home for the safety of those in attendance.
