Lillian Higdon

Lillian Marie Gibson Higdon, age 81 of Clarkson passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. She was born October 4, 1933 in Millerstown the daughter of Garland and Emma Carby Gibson and was the wife of the late Franklin Higdon. She was a member of Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Keith Higdon (Elizabeth) of Clarkson, daughter, Emalesa Duvall (Dale) of Clarkson, brothers, Robert Gibson (Marie) and Paul Gibson of Clarkson, sisters, Anthonette Flake (Olvin) and Geneva Cubbage of Leitchfield, grandchildren, Lisa and Tommy Duvall, Dakota and Courtney Higdon and Elisha Decker, great grandchildren, Kristopher and Kristen Decker and many nieces, nephews and friends. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, brothers, Harley, Jessie, Troy, Ralph, Euell, Lowell and W.T., sisters, Frances Armstrong, Alverta Gibson and Mary Zelma Gibson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church in Clarkson, Kentucky with Bro. Terry Priddy officiating. Burial will be at the Little Flock Cemetery in Clarkson. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. at the Watson and Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church on Monday.
