Lillian Peden

Lillian Joyce Peden 85 of Park City, died Tuesday July 8th at the U of L Hospital in Louisville from injuries sustained in a recent auto accident. She was a Barren County native the daughter of the late Luther Owen and Daisy Ethel Cawthorne Pedigo. Mrs. Peden was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. She was a member of the Wednesday quilt group at Lera B. Mitchell clubhouse and the Quilting Friends Quilt Guild at South Central KY Cultural Center. She was a member of the Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church but regularly attended the Bonayr Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Wilson Peden and two brothers McRee and Kenneth Pedigo. She is survived by a son Larry Peden (Linda) of Louisville; a daughter Carolyn Moran (Pat) of Horse Cave; 6 grandchildren Kristen Ballew (Richard) of Boaz, AL, Danny Moran of Nashville, TN, Sheena Moran of Denver, CO, Shane Moran of Boaz, AL, Jason Peden (LaRae) of Louisville and Amy Peden of Louisville; 2 step grandchildren Nicole Snider (Josh) and Celest Wooten (Brian) both of Alabama; 1 great-grandchild Skylar Peden; 5 step-great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Pauline Peden of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday July 12, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:30pm on Friday at the funeral home.
