Lillian Rose Cooper

Lillian Rose Cooper, age 89, of Cave City, died Sunday, August 15, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. She was born in Munfordville on August 15, 1932, to the late James Gilbert Sturgeon and the late Annie Mae (Taylor) Sturgeon. She was employeed at Mammoth Cave Garments, a seamstress, and a housewife as well as a member of Little Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Williams (Lennis) of Glasgow; one stepson, Jewell Cooper (Brenda) of Cave City; one daughter in law, Connie Cooper of Cave City; one grandson, Nick Williams; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ewell Cooper; a stepson, Charles Cooper; three brothers, Howard, Lester, and James Rollo Sturgeon; one sister, Flora Wells. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 19th at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 pm until 8:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday morning until time for services at the funeral home. A.F. Crow & Son is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Cooper.
