Linda Fox, age 83, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born August 17, 1941, to the late James Bridges and the late Austeel Bridges (Stull). She was a lifelong residence resident of Park City, Kentucky, where she and her husband, Roy lived on the family farm. She was a beloved science teacher at Caverna Independent Schools for 27 years.
Linda was a member of the Mt. Vernon Church of Christ, where she had attended her entire life. She loved her family, her church family, her farm, traveling and going fishing.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Roy Fox; two children, Tammy Dorris (Jason), and Jimmy Fox (Amy) both of Bowling Green, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Joshua Dorris (Sydnee), Olivia Payne (Josh), Lee Fox (Sidney), and Quentin Fox’ six great-grandchildren, Sawyer Dorris, Clay Dorris, Lendon Fox, Lincoln Fox, Jase Payne and Jett Payne.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Walnut Hill Cemetery Commission. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
The memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 2nd, at Mt. Vernon Church of Christ, 2821 Park City-Bonayr Road, in Park City, Kentucky. Visitation will begin Sunday, December 1st, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Monday at the church beginning at 12:00PM until time for the service at the church. A private burial will follow at a later date.
