Linda Spear Goad 51 of Glasgow died Saturday May 6, 2006 at her home. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky the daughter of the alte Carl and Leona Brown Spear. Linda is the former owner of the Coldwell Banker Longhunters Realty Company. She was a past president and board member of the Glasgow Board of Realtors, held her GRI, CRS, ABR, and Broker designations along with serving on many state level KAR, committees and panels. Linda is a past member and president of the Glasgow Kiwanis Club, a member and past vice president of the Mammoth Cave Amateur Radio Club, and holder of a General Class Amateur Radio License, KB4UME. Linda was also a member of the Glasgow Post B TPA. She was a past teacher and program coordinator for the Barren County Literacy Council and a graduate of Glasgow Barren County Leadership Class of 1996. Linda was a 1972 graduate of Temple Hill High School. She was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ. Survived by her husband of 32 years, Mike Goad; five brothers Robert Spear, Ed Spear, Harold Spear, and Elmer Spear of Glasgow and Glen Spear and one sister Ruth Nole of Bowling Green. She is also survived by 8 nieces, 4 nephews, 10 great nieces and 5 great nephews. She was preceded in death by a nephew Terry Spear. Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday May 9, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am Monday.
