Linda Strode

Linda Hammer Strode 65 of Glasgow died Sunday April 21, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Monroe County the daughter of the late Fred Hammer and Ella Geralds Hammer. Linda was a former employee Dana Corp. and a member of Refuge Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband Carlie T. Strode of Glasgow; son Jeffery Gibson of Glasgow; mother Ella Geralds Hammer of Glasgow; brother Thomas Hammer and wife Eula of Canton, OH; 2 sisters Betty Barbour and husband Omar of Glasgow and Nancy Garrett and husband Erbie of Hodgenville; grandson Matthew Evans of Bowling Green; 7 nieces, 8 nephews and several great nieces and nephews; step granddaughter Hailey Wilson and step grandson Jacob Evans both of Bowling Green; special friends Kathy White and Shirley Walker. In addition to her Father she is preceded in death by 3 brothers Herman L. Hammer, Clifford M. Hammer and Paul D. Hammer; Sister Sondra L. Hammer and stepdaughter Tammy Evans. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday April 24, 2013 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to Potter Children's Home 2350 Nashville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101
