Linwood Sweitzer

Linwood J. Sweitzer 83 of Glasgow died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Redding, PA the son of the late Earl and Mercedes Grabert Sweitzer. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Shalters Lutheran Church. Mr. Sweitzer was an Entrepreneur and had worked in television and radio before forming his own oil well drilling business, Sweitzer Drilling. He later owned Sweitzer Mfg. of Cave City. He is survived by his wife Lois; a son Scott Sweitzer and wife Sandy of Bowling Green; a daughter Denise Sweitzer of Nashville and two grandsons, Joshua Sweitzer of Bowling Green and Jared Sweitzer of Chicago, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4pm until 8pm.
